Project description

For the extension of the "Schuldorf" at Favoritepark in Ludwigsburg, the district of Ludwigsburg has commissioned PLAN FORWARD GmbH with the planning services of phases 3-7 and the object supervision of service phase 8 according to HOAI 2013 for the implementation of the existing solution and the construction project.

For the Fröbelschule and the Schule am Favoritepark in Ludwigsburg, a two-story new extension building will be constructed without direct connection to the existing premises.

The building project will be executed in the innovative and extremely sustainable timber frame construction method and founded on a solid reinforced concrete floor slab with frost aprons. The staircase incl. technical area and basement will also be provided in reinforced concrete.

On the ground floor and first floor are the rooms for the school at Favoritepark, with a total of 8 group rooms and interconnected differentiation and inclusion rooms. Further, there is a student kitchen, a library and a teachers' room.

On the 2nd floor, 2 more group rooms are planned as well as the necessary counseling and administration rooms. These include 1 meeting room, 2 rooms for early counseling, 2 rooms for the school social workers and 2 offices for counseling. A theater room will follow.

The ventilation system will be located outside and will receive a privacy screen. In addition, the building will receive a partial basement for technology and additionally required storage rooms as well as an elevator connected across all floors. The roof will be designed as a flat roof and equipped with an extensive green roof. The entire roof surface will be equipped with a PV system. As a measure for sun protection, external venetian blinds will be used, as well as increased night ventilation of the individual rooms.

For the project, the specifications of the state sustainability program NBBW are targeted. In addition to the EnEV, the Renewable Energies Heat Act (EEWärmeG) also applies to the extension building.

Completion is planned for mid 2024.
